2019-2020 CARES ACT Application

CIIS CARES Act Emergency Grant Application for Students Impacted by COVID-19

CIIS recognizes COVID-19’s impact on our students and is committed to supporting our students as much as possible during this difficult time. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocates funds to support those affected by the pandemic and economic downturn. The Act includes several sources of funds for colleges and universities, including the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund. CIIS will receive funds under this CARES Act to provide emergency grants to students for “expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to coronavirus (including expenses under a student’s cost of attendance, such as food, housing, course materials, technology, and childcare).”

Therapy Verification Form

Students in our School of Professional Psychology and Health may submit this form to increase their Cost of Attendance for psychotherapy costs up to the required 50 hours for all counseling psychology programs - PsyD, ICP, ICPW, PDT, EXA, CMH, CMHW and SOM. Please view the form for additional required documents.

[Please note that in addition to the maximum therapy hours listed, all MCP students may increase their Cost of Attendance by a maximum of $75/session and PsyD students may increase by a maximum of $80/session.]

EXA Art Supplies Verification Form

EXA students may increase their Cost of Attendance for adviser-approved purchases for their final arts project. Please view the form for required documents and check with your adviser and with our office before making your purchase.

Childcare Verification Form

Students interested in increasing their Cost of Attendance for childcare costs for children 4-years old or younger must submit this form along with the documentation listed.
